Craftsmanship is a small company founded by Mr. Wallace E. Lesauteur in Trois-Rivières more than 50 years ago. Mr.John Letch is the owner since 1971 and during all these years Mr.Letch, has made and developed new log rulers.

In 2008, Craftsmanship acquired the assets of Opération Création after the death of its founder, Mr. Walter Kramer. With this acquisition, Craftsmanship expanded its canadian sales network and now it covers from one ocean to the other.
In December 2018, Jean Rosa, owner of Bois d’Amérique Inc., purchased Craftsmanship. Bois d’Amérique Inc. is a company specialised in the trade of hardwood log buying and scaling.
Since Craftsmanship is a company specialised in the manufacturing of scaling rulers and Jean Rosa is a forester specialised in scaling wood, the combination of the two companies is quite natural. With his experience and creativity, Mr.Rosa will continue to follow in the footsteps of his predecessors while innovating to meet the needs of his customers.
